Rokuda Noboru

image/data/author/noboru_rokuda.jpg Rokuda Noboru (born July 23, 1952) is a Japanese manga artist and a specially appointed professor at Kyoto Seika University. Born in Yao, Osaka, he graduated from Osaka City Kogei High School's photography course. His best known works include Dash Kappei, F, Ichigo: A Tale of Two Cities, and Utamaro.

A veteran with a career spanning over 30 years, he continues to be prolific to this day. His works often focus on the determination of his protagonists, who meet with a series of misfortunes. In addition to manga, he has also authored picture books.
